On the evening of December 8, 1926, Agatha Christie disappeared from her home. Despite massive efforts and volunteers seeking her, she remained lost for 11 days. On December 19 Agatha was identified as a hotel guest in Harrogate in Yorkshire. She had registered under a false name: Mrs. Teres Neele and she has claimed to be from South Africa.
Her disappearance awoke a lot of interest and various theories were given: She suffered of amnesia; she had had an argument with her husband who wanted a divorce to marry his mistress or the whole disappearance was only to get publicity for her new book.
Dr. Carole Owens writes a fictive novel of Agatha Christie coming to her office wanting to regain her memory of those lost days. Through discussions and hypnosis, the meeting of the two ladies proceeds.
